PAA Distinguished Students of the
Year Scholarship Honors

The
PAA Scholarship was first awarded in 1995 to aid students in pursuing
their education. The PAA scholarship is awarded to students of Pilipino
descent who have committed themselves to academic success, community
service and involvement, leadership, self-expression through various
mediums, and/or financial need.

Pilipinos in Community Service
(PICS) Scholarship honor

The Pilipinos in Community Service (PICS) Scholarship was
started in 1998 by a group of PAA alumni who had been involved in community
service as undergraduate students. The PICS scholarship commends Pilipino
students’ dedication to community service, and encourages continued
involvement and education through service learning. To contribute, please

Endowments

PAA
of UCLA is committed to establishing a scholarship endowment to ensure
the continuance of scholarships for UCLA students. As a future goal,
PAA of UCLA also want to create an endowment for Pilipino Studies so
that UCLA students can study Pilipino culture, face Pilipino issues,
learn Pilipino history, and build a career on Pilipino Studies. These
endowments will permanently link the Pilipino Community with UCLA.
