Roles and Responsibilities

• Create agenda

• Pull together the other members to further group’s goal

• Ensure that overall PAA is within the defined strategy

• Establish and execute the overall vision of organization

• Act as spokesperson for PAA with other groups, organizations

• Representation at outside events

• Represent the organization and the community

• Keep ties with campus organizations

• Keep contact with all other organization heads

• Liaison to students

• Liaison to student organizations

• Responsible for projecting visibility of PAA

• Serve as community liaison

• Manage meetings so they are focused

• Lead meetings, but delegate to develop board members

• Work with student groups to recruit

• Open lines of communication with all other groups (students, community, alumni, etc.)

• Responsible for ensuring PAA is acknowledged as an organization (i.e. PAA exists- We’re here to serve.)

• Advocate PAA to community and campus

General Duties of all PAA Board Members: 

• Attend and help coordinate all PAA events and programs, including recruiting and publicity.

• Attend all Board of Directors meetings (monthly).

• Work closely with any other Board members or committees as needed.
